Description:

This Hybrid Support Group for foster, adoptive, guardianship and kinship providers will meet the first Tuesday of the Month at  the Chillicothe Branch Office (301 Cowgill St, Chillicothe, MO 64601) or via Zoom.  We will meet from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM (CTS) for training and from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM (CTS) for support.  

Training Topic will be Co-Parenting with Biological Parents.  Research shows that supporting biological parents when their children are in care helps the whole family.  Join us as we give real life examples of shared parenting between foster parents and biological parents. Upon completion you will earn 2 credit hours.

Ashley Webb

Ashley Webb is the Family Advocate and Trainer for Foster Adopt Connect in Chillicothe, Missouri. Ashley has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology and has worked for several agencies in the social services fields including the Department of Youth Services, Preferred Family Healthcare, and Children’s Division. Outside of the office, she is a proud mom to 4 young children aged 7, 5, and 10 month old twins. She and her husband have been married for 9 years and he is currently the band director for Trenton Middle and High Schools. Ashley enjoys helping families and children thrive in their everyday lives.

Senior Social Services Specialist (IV) Adoption and Legal Guardianship Subsidy Worker/ Faith Based Advisor for 45th Circuit (Lincoln/Pike Counties)

Michelle Green

Michelle is a subsidy worker for the 45th circuit Children's Division. She is also an adoptive parent herself and has helped many families navigate subsidy over the years of her service with the State of Missouri.
