Description:

Parenting is hard, it is even harder when you have kiddos that have experienced trauma. We're all in this together, we invite you to join this monthly support group as we experience the hard together. Looking for a TRUE “I get it!” you can find that at R&R (Reassure and Renew).  Grab some coffee, a donut and an ear! All foster, adoptive, kinship, guardianship families are welcome! We meet the second Tuesday of the month from 9-10:00 AM at our Joplin Branch of FosterAdopt Connect in Joplin (1802 W. 32nd St Suite F&G Joplin) or via zoom!  Please note this is a support group and no training credit will be given.

Courtnie Ward

Courtnie joined FAC in August 2022, she comes with more than 6 years of experience working directly on the frontlines of the child welfare system as a foster and adoptive mom. Courtnie is very passionate about helping and serving her families in the community. When not serving her FAC families, she is home enjoying her family, making memories, and having fun with her 6 kiddos!
