Description:

This group will provide support to Foster/adopt families who just want to connect with other foster/adopt families. It is so important for foster/adopt families to connect, support, and mentor each other. This group provides a safe place to do so.  We will meet VIRTUALLY on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM (CST).  Upon completion 1 hour of training credit will be received.

Family Advocate and Trainer

Brenda Keith

Brenda Keith is the Family Advocate and Trainer for FosterAdopt Connect in Mountain Grove. She has a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral and Community Health. Brenda has seventeen years’ worth of experience working with children in the foster care system. Brenda and her husband are treatment foster parents and specialize in working with youth who have elevated needs. They have two biological sons, two adopted sons, and two adopted daughters. Brenda is very passionate about helping the children who are in foster care, as well as the families who are caring for them.
