Description:

This class will discuss different parenting methods, and will focus on Gentle Parenting/Respectful Parenting method. Gentle parenting is a parenting approach grounded in four central elements: respect, understanding, empathy, and boundaries. It's rooted in research that shows strong, and healthy bonds with their parents can improve a child's long-term mental health, and resilience. This class will give you the tools to protect, nurture, and parent the foster children in your home as the humans that they are.  This course is worth 3 credit hours.
