Guest Presenter: Jay Edwards, Representative for Missouri’s 529 Educational Savings Program


The Missouri Saving for Tuition (MOST) 529 Plan is a state-sponsored education savings program designed to help families save for future education expenses. Foster parents can play a vital role in encouraging and facilitating educational savings for the youth in their care. 


To learn more please join us in person at the Chillicothe Branch Office (301 Cowgill St, Chillicothe, MO 64601) or virtually through the Zoom platform on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.  Upon completion you will receive 1 hour training credit.

Family Advocate and Trainer

Ashley Webb

Ashley Webb is the Family Advocate and Trainer for Foster Adopt Connect in Chillicothe, Missouri. Ashley has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology and has worked for several agencies in the social services fields including the Department of Youth Services, Preferred Family Healthcare, and Children’s Division. Outside of the office, she is a proud mom to 4 young children aged 7, 5, and 10 month old twins. She and her husband have been married for 9 years and he is currently the band director for Trenton Middle and High Schools. Ashley enjoys helping families and children thrive in their everyday lives.
