From Foster to Future: A workshop for for teens & caregivers 

Join us for an interactive session designed to help youth ages 17+ make a smooth transition from foster care into adulthood. This is a unique opportunity for teens to connect with Megan Hines, CCYT Specialist, ask questions, and gain valuable insights. Plus, teens will receive school supplies to help set them up for success!
Caregivers are encouraged to attend and will have a chance to connect with others in similar situations, share experiences, and earn 2 hours of service training.
It’s an evening of growth, community, and support – don’t miss out!

This class will be IN PERSON on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 6-8:00 PM at the Poplar Bluff branch (2198 N. Westwood Blvd, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.

Trisha Lambert

Trisha Lambert is the Family Advocate and Training Specialist for FosterAdopt Connect in Poplar Bluff. Trisha brings many years of lived experience navigating the child welfare system, including parenting a child with special needs. Trisha's own journey of fostering to adopt has left her uniquely equipped to understand both perspectives, and to serve as a steadfast bridge for families in the midst of their journey. Trisha has three daughters. Trisha enjoys outdoor activities with her family, spending time with friends, and reading.
