Description:

This virtual group will provide support to Foster/adopt families who just want to connect with other foster/adopt families for community and understanding. It is so important for foster/adopt families to connect, support, and mentor each other. This group provides a safe place to do so.

As foster, and adoptive parents, we often need to have really tough conversations with the kids in our care. These discussions range from their birth family, abuse they have endured, and so much more. This training will provide practical tools to handle these tough conversations to better prepare you ahead of time.  Upon completion you will earn 2 hours training credit.

We will meet from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM for training and from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM for support group.   Upon completion 2 hours of training credit will be received.
