Description:

This class was designed for parents who took the NTDC pre-service course and want to adopt but all are welcome to attend.   This class will provide necessary information regarding the adoption process, policy relating to adoption and tools for those seeking to adopt children in Foster Care.  Please be advised that if you have attend Spaulding, materials presented will be familiar. 

This class will be IN PERSON on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 6-8:00 PM at the Poplar Bluff branch (2198 N. Westwood Blvd, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.  Upon completion you will receive 2 hours of training credit.

Trisha Lambert

Trisha Lambert is the Family Advocate and Training Specialist for FosterAdopt Connect in Poplar Bluff. Trisha brings many years of lived experience navigating the child welfare system, including parenting a child with special needs. Trisha's own journey of fostering to adopt has left her uniquely equipped to understand both perspectives, and to serve as a steadfast bridge for families in the midst of their journey. Trisha has three daughters. Trisha enjoys outdoor activities with her family, spending time with friends, and reading.
