Description:

This virtual group will provide support to Foster/adopt families who just want to connect with other foster/adopt families for community and understanding. It is so important for foster/adopt families to connect, support, and mentor each other. This group provides a safe place to do so.

This training provides an in-depth exploration of grief in adoption.  It will exam the complex and often lifelong nature of grief for children and families, and how it may present accross developmental states.  Supportive strategies for acknowledging, processing, and healing from these experiences will be offered

We will meet from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM for training and from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM for support group.   Upon completion 2 hours of training credit will be received.
