This training focuses on the essential role of self-care in maintaining the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of foster and adoptive parents. Participants learn how ongoing stress, compassion fatigue, and secondary trauma can impact their ability to provide stable, nurturing care. The session provides strategies to recognize signs of burnout and prioritize personal wellness while managing the complex needs of children in their care.  Upon completion you will earn 2 credit hours.
