Parenting is hard, it is even harder when you have kiddos that have experienced trauma. We're all in this together, we invite you to join this monthly support group as we experience the hard together. Looking for a TRUE “I get it!” you can find that at R&R (Reassure and Renew).  Grab some coffee, a donut and an ear! All foster, adoptive, kinship, guardianship families are welcome! We meet the second Tuesday of the month from 9-10:00 AM at the Joplin Branch FosterAdopt Connect (1802 W. 32nd Street, Joplin, MO 64804 or via Zoom.  Upon completion 1 hour of training credit will be received.

Jennifer Cummins

Jennifer Cummins is an Family Advocate and Trainer at Foster Adopt Connect. She has a bachelor’s degree in Human Services and has worked in child welfare for the past 4 years. Jennifer and her husband were licensed foster parents for 6 years and they are adoptive parents. They have 5 children in total and 2 are adopted. Jennifer enjoys helping families and individuals be successful in their daily lives.
