Family Training Specialist

Jennifer Meyer

Jenn Meyer is a Family Training Specialist at FosterAdopt Connect. After earning her education degree at Northwest Missouri State University, she taught for five years. Jenn then moved into case management and eventually became a licensing worker. She now trains for FosterAdopt Connect and the Spaulding Center. Jenn and her husband were licensed foster parents for seven years. They have three daughters, one who was adopted from the foster care system.

Course Description

This is a virtual training!

Core teen is a curriculum for caregivers of children ages 10 and up who have experienced trauma. This cutting edge curriculum is designed to prepare caregivers to meet the unique needs of teens and add new parenting strategies. This class fulfills the current requirement for Level A (Behavioral Foster Parent) licensure but can be taken for training purposes only.  You must attend all 7 classes to receive the 21 hours of credit hours.
