FosterAdopt Connect Training

This theme provides an overview of the impact transitions, both planned and unplanned, have on children who have experienced trauma, loss and separation.  The theme discusses strategies parents can use to make these transitions less traumatic and disruptive.  Strategies for making children feel welcomed and connected before, during, and after transitions occur are shared.

This self-paced class was designed to be completed at your own pace.  It includes a recorded webinar, podcast, required reading, quiz and survey.  You will need to pass the quiz with 80% or better to earn a certificate. Upon completion of this course, you will earn 1 hour of training credit.
